Brand identity & packaging
Farmer Tom has a pumpkin patch on his Meath based family farm. Every year children come across the counties to visit the patch and pick a pumpkin. In 2017 he introduced some bees and started making his own honey Hey, Honey!
The challenge was to create a heartwarming logo and packaging that would reflect the experience of visiting the Hey, Honey! bee hives. The identity would need to have a whole family appeal.
The outcome of the project is an identity reminiscent of childhood drawings, combined with a limited colour palette of black and yellow. The minimal colour contrasts with the hand lettering and quirky illustration, giving the design a sophistication so that it appeals to both parent and child.
